STEM Scholarship Application

Accelerate4KIDS announces (2) two STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Scholarships for graduating Detroit & Pontiac high school seniors to aid in their post-education pursuit at a college, university, or trade school of their choice.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Current Graduating Detroit & Pontiac Public High School senior 

• Entering college, university, or a vocational/trade school

• Want to study a STEM field

• GPA of 3.0 or higher

Requirements:

• Applicants must submit a completed online application by midnight on April 30, 2026. Awardees will be announced by May 15th

• A 1-page essay about your past, present and future goals under 500 words and include a catchy title

• Include a short 60-sec video about you and your plans with the STEM Scholarship

• Attach an unofficial high school transcript

• Attach a high quality senior photo

• Must be present on May 30th in Detroit to accept scholarship check
