This Yo-Coding Event is a 5-day virtual camp teaching kids grades 9th-12th about learning how to use Python by developing machine learning apps for Alexa. A free Amazon Echo Dot is provided. This all will happen after starting some fun yoga stretches to start the day.

About the Event

Description: The Yo-Coding Summer Virtual Camp teaches kids grades 9th-12th about coding after doing some fun yoga stretches to start the camp. This is a intermediate Coding camp using Python. Students will learn fun yoga poses, as well as developing machine learning applications for Alexa using Python (an Echo Dot is provided). The goal is to focus yourself physically and mentally. Our live instructor will make the online camp engaging and educational. 

Fee: FREE for Detroit residents

Date: August 16th - August 20th (MTWTF)

Time: 1pm-3:30am EST

Online: Link will be provided once approved

Requirement: Laptop/Computer with Internet access. Camera and microphone are required. One enrollment per household.
