About the Event

Description: The Michigan Accelerate CS group (powered by Accelerate4KIDS™) will be attempting to set the Guinness World Records for "Most Users To Take An Online Computer Programming Lesson in 24 Hours". The event is to unite the community through a common goal during National Computer Science Education Week. The virutal event will starts on Friday, Dec 11 at 8AM EST and ends on Saturday, Dec 12 at 12AM EST. Anyone ages 10-60 yo can participate and learn how to code or refresh their programming skills with JavaScript. It only takes 30-minute to complete but you have 24 hours to do so ... it's that easy. There are 3 ways of registering at www.MiAccelerateCS.com:

  1. Register as an Educator/Teacher and enroll your Students
  2. Register as an Adult and have the option to Volunteer to make history
  3. Register as a Minor/Student and get your Parents/Guardians consent
