Farwell Tennis & Tech™ After School Program

The after school Tennis & Tech™  6-week program is for kids grades 4th-7th grade to learn how to play the game of tennis and code in Scratch Block Programming. Classes will be every Monday and Wednesday that begins on Monday October 18th and ends on December 1st. Kids will learn the fundamental of tennis strokes and swings for 30 minutes each day in the activity center and get a 10-15 minute break. Kids will also learn about coding by developing a game with Scratch for 45 minutes per day. The wholistic program will encourage a healthy lifestyle with tennis while learning STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education to develop 21st century skills like creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills. On the final week, kids will be allow to impress their tennis skills through some game challenges and they will also be able present their code and game. Kids should dress comfortably for playing tennis and coding.

Week 6 - Learning rallies (receive their racquets and balls) / Project Presentations (receive their coding certification)
