About the Event
The after school STEM & Entrepreneurship 10-week course is for kids grades 6th-12th grade to learn how to code in JavaScript, create a startup and learn key skills of entrepreneurship. Classes will be every Tuesday and Thursday in October, November and December. Students will relax and chill first witth our instructor while playing some video games or board games. The program will teach about JavaScript programming language to develop their own app game, be able to design storyboards, troubleshoot and debug programs, collaborate with other kids, and present their business at the end of the course.Â

Location: FREC-SW, 2826 Bagley Street, Detroit, MI
Days: Tuesdasy and Thursdasy (students must come everday if possible to learn with the class)
Start Date: Tuesdasy, Oct 12, 2021
End Date: Thursday, Dec 16, 2022
Times: 4:00PM - 7:00PM EST
Grades: 6th-12th
Subject: Math, Science, English (Reading & Writing)
Max Students: 10 (due to COVID rules, only 10 kids can join this course)
Requirements: Students must have a fun spirit.
